CHITEHURST. Certificate by Ivo, archdeacon of Chichester between Thomas, the prior, and convent of the Causeway, Arundel, and John le Wesselyr, rector of the church of Chitehurst , concerning an annual pension of 5s. for the tithe of the land which Roger de Kyngesham held in Chitehurst, in which the former composition (see MS. Ch. Sussex 50) is recited. Dated 1285. [Mutilated.] .
