Nicholas Plocat of Chichester, son and heir of Roger Plocat , remits and quit-claims to the prior and canons of the Causeway, Arundel, all his right &c. in 14d. annual rent, for a messuage in Chichester in the lane called Bakeleh Lane which the said prior and canons had by the gift of Gunnilda Hechemele . Witness. William de Wythsond, then mayor of Chichester . (c. 1250-70.) .
