TEVERSHAM. Hugh, of the manor ('de manerio'), grants in frankalmoigne for himself and his wife Berta to the prior and monks of Ely 12d. annual rent payable by his son William arising out of six acres of land and a messuage in Theversham for maintenance of a light at the altar of St Mary. [c. 1230-40]
